Hynes Legal Continues Growth With Senior Appointments

Hynes Legal, Queensland’s leading body corporate, strata and management rights law firm, continues to strengthen its offering to clients with the appointment of two senior lawyers to the practice.

Guy Rossall and Vanessa Sciortino, both appointed as Associate Directors, bring a combined 34 years of professional experience, with particular expertise in property law, management rights and body corporate law, and community management.

Guy Rossall has worked on property and commercial transactions in both private practice and for the Commonwealth Government. He has extensive experience in advising government agencies, representing bodies corporate, negotiating Management Rights (MR), acting for major property developers in all aspects of development work, and acting for landlords and tenants in commercial and retail leasing. He is a member of the Australian Resident Accommodation Managers Association (ARAMA).

Vanessa Sciortino has extensive experience in property and strata law with a particular focus on all facets of management rights from acquisition and sales (off the plan and established), whether standalone businesses or franchised, to drafting variations and extensions of variations management rights agreements. She is a member of ARAMA and a committee member of ARAMA’s Brisbane branch, is an Australian Building Management Accredited (ABMA) industry practitioner and  sits on the ABMA Building Management Code review panel.  Vanessa was also recently appointed to the Property Law and Community Management Committee of the Urban Development Institute of Australia Queensland (UDIAQ).
