How often should the committee meet?

Once they are appointed, it is up to them how they make decisions for the scheme.

We wrote this article about those that don’t meet at all, other than by vote, outside the committee.

Our experience is that with committee meetings, size does matter. The bigger the scheme, the more issues that will come up, so we tend to find the committees of bigger (and perhaps more active smaller) schemes should meet at least monthly.

The committees of the vast majority of medium schemes meet quarterly, and the committees of smaller schemes might not meet at all throughout the year and just decide things by voting outside committee.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
