What are body corporate by-laws?

By-laws are the rules that have been decided by the community (or imposed upon them by the original developer) that set out how common property facilities can be used along with the range of other things.

There is a statutory minimum set of by-laws that you can adopt but of course with lawyers being lawyers (!) there is a range of other by-laws that have come into existence over time that had become relatively common.
