Fixed price workplace investigations package
Poorly conducted workplace investigations have the potential to expose an organisation to significant legal risk and reputational damage.
Typical claims arising from poorly executed investigations into complaints or allegations of bullying, sexual harassment or other misconduct include constructive dismissal, unfair dismissal, discrimination, adverse action and breach of contract.
In addition, an employee that has little confidence in their employer’s ability to properly investigate or deal with complaints of bullying will simply bypass internal processes and head straight to the Fair Work Commission for a “stop bullying order”.
Responding to complaints and claims arising from mismanaged investigations is both time consuming and costly, as well as having a negative impact on the organisation’s brand and reputation.
Our Employment and Workplace Relations team has significant experience in conducting independent investigations and also in providing “behind the scenes” guidance in respect of internal investigations.
In our experience, initial upfront investment in appropriate tools and resources to support the investigation process (along with training) can help to significantly reduce the likelihood of litigation following the completion of an investigation.
Our team has designed a suite of documents to help ensure that investigations conducted by your organisation are procedurally fair, adhere to the principles of nature justice and are capable of withstanding external scrutiny.
These documents are available as a package for a fixed price of $2,500 (inclusive of GST) and will be tailored to your organisation for no additional charge.
