What is the role of a body corporate committee?

The committee is basically the board of directors of the body corporate.  They have to be elected annually and can make decisions on essentially all body corporate matters unless they are restricted issues (which relate to things that change the rights, privileges or obligations owners or involve serious spending etc).

You can read our article on that which goes into a lot more depth about the individual positions.
